This page explains in plain language how Continental handles information collected on this site, by email and by text message.
Email and text-message offers are optional. You can withdraw your consent.
Continental does not sell or rent your personal information.
You may ask for access, correction or, where the law allows it, deletion.
This policy applies to Le Liquidateur and Continental websites, forms and digital services operated by Continental Capital Investments. It does not apply to third-party websites reached through a link; their own policies apply.
We collect only information that is reasonably needed for the purposes below. You may provide it directly, it may be collected automatically when you visit, or a service provider may process it for us.
Marketing signup is voluntary and is not required to view offers or find a store. We use the contact method you choose to send the communications you agreed to receive.
You can unsubscribe from email through the link in a message or stop text messages by replying STOP when that option is offered. Your mobile provider’s message and data rates may apply. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that was lawful before the withdrawal.
Precise device location is off until you choose to activate it. A city or postal code you enter may be sent to OpenStreetMap/Nominatim to obtain approximate coordinates and rank nearby stores.
The site uses the Meta Pixel and may embed social-media content. These services may receive technical identifiers, browsing data and interaction information under their own policies. Our Meta events are configured not to send your email, phone number, postal code or precise coordinates. You can limit some cookies through your browser or platform settings; embedded content or measurement may then work less effectively.
Some providers may process or store information elsewhere in Canada, the United States or other countries. Information may then be subject to the laws of those places. We assess providers and use appropriate contractual, administrative and technical measures before entrusting information to them.
We keep information only as long as needed for the stated purpose, to comply with law, resolve a dispute or demonstrate consent. Marketing information is generally kept while you are subscribed; a limited consent or suppression record may be kept afterward. Inquiries are kept long enough to respond and meet reasonable administrative needs. At the end of the applicable period, information is securely deleted or anonymized, subject to backups and legal requirements.
We use safeguards appropriate to the information, including encryption in transit, restricted administrative access, access controls, specialized service providers and incident-management procedures. No system is completely risk-free, so we review and improve our measures regularly.
Subject to legal limits, you may ask what information we hold, request access or correction, withdraw consent, ask us to stop certain uses or disclosures, request deletion or portability where those rights apply, or make a complaint. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Our marketing services are not directed to children under 14. We do not knowingly seek to collect their information without the required consent of a parent or guardian.
We may update this policy when our practices, providers or the law change. The new version will be posted here with its updated date. We will also bring a material change to the attention of affected people in an appropriate way.
